Soweto – Orlando Pirates have confirmed the departure of winger Katlego Otladisa, leaving the 28-year-old as a free agent ahead of the new football season.
The Soweto giants announced the decision on their official social media pages, thanking the midfielder for his service. “Thank you, Katlego Otladisa. We wish you the very best in your next chapter,” the club posted on X.
Otladisa joined the Buccaneers at the start of the 2023/24 campaign after catching the eye with strong performances for Marumo Gallants. However, his time in Orlando was marked by limited game time. He managed only 12 appearances in his debut season without registering a goal or assist.
In search of minutes, the midfielder was loaned to Sekhukhune United in the second half of the season, where he featured in nine league matches and scored once.
After returning from his loan spell, Orlando Pirates opted not to keep him in the squad, leaving the former Gallants winger free to negotiate with potential suitors as he considers his next move.
