Botlhoko said the Masters Scholarships will be offered in Distance Learning mode, which will give the recipient time to do studies and work at the same time.

She emphasized that the scholarship is given to the media house than an individual, therefore, if the individual leaves the job, the scholarship falls off.

According to Botlhoko the scholarship covers tuition fees and students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to continue without paying anything. If the GPA drops below 2.0, the student pays for the retake.

Botho University is a leading multi-disciplinary high-quality education provider certified for quality education.

The University started in the Republic of Botswana in 1997 and has grown to be a regional Institution of higher learning present in four SADC countries; Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, and a dedicated Blended Distance Learning Campus.  The University has a core mandate of providing teaching and learning, Training, Research, and Consultancy in the higher education sub-sector.
