MBABANE – South African football legends Itumeleng Khune and George Lebese will be the special guests at the opening of the 8bet Trade Fair Cup 2025 this Saturday at the Mavuso Sports Centre.
The announcement was made by 8bet marketing manager Mnqobi Tsabedze during a kit presentation ceremony at the venue on Friday. Tsabedze said the inclusion of the high-profile duo is part of efforts to raise the profile of local football and attract international attention.
“8bet, with the help of PLE, invited football legends from outside the country to join us and watch our football, mainly Itumeleng Khune and George Lebese, who will be attending the first game this weekend,” Tsabedze said.
He added that the presence of the South African stars is intended to showcase Eswatini football and encourage recognition from other countries. Tsabedze assured participating teams and fans of 8bet’s full commitment to the tournament.
