Manzini – South African music stars Big Zulu, Naledi and Mlindo the Vocalist are among the headline acts confirmed for the 2025 Umuthi Festival, taking place on 18 October at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.
The festival, now in its second edition, is building excitement with a lineup that blends hip-hop, Afro-pop, soul, amapiano, and gospel.
Big Zulu, known for his fusion of Zulu tradition and hard-hitting rap, is expected to deliver his trademark raw performance. Rising star Naledi will bring her soulful, genre-blending sound, while Mlindo the Vocalist is set to charm audiences with his smooth Afro-soul hits such as AmaBlesser and Egoli.
Blaq Diamond will add their melodic Afro-pop style to the mix, and gospel group Shongwe NeKhuphuka Saved Group will deliver a spiritual edge with their harmonies and faith-driven messages.
Festival organiser Zulu D said the event is more than a concert, describing it as a cultural platform that celebrates African roots, language, and identity through music. He added that the festival will usher in the summer season with powerful performances and an atmosphere that brings people together.
Tickets are already on sale for those wishing to secure their place at the Mavuso grounds.
