Mbabane – Eswatini Investment Trade Promotions Sibusiso Mnisi has projected that over 70 000 visitors would converge in the country during the 2025 Eswatini Trade Fair (EITF).
Mnisi made the announcement during a press briefing held at the organization’s premises. This year’s event is scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 8. Mnisi said the trade fair meets both commercial showcases and socio-cultural objectives.
“The Trade fair is a hub of commerce, innovation and opportunity and by integrating sport into this ecosystem, we are helping to unlock new avenues for entrepreneurship, tourism and youth development,” Mnisi stated.
He further emphasized that the 10 – day event was expected to proceed smoothly, blending business with social impact in unprecedented ways. “ We foresee a successful period, where the synergy between business and sport will be more visible than ever.
This year’s event is themed ‘ Accelerating Inclusive and Sustainable Business Growth through Digitalization and commerce. It will feature a wide range of exhibitors and activities related to various business sectors. He highlights the increasing importance of online business and digital technologies.
“The Fair aims to promote business practices that are both inclusive and environmentally responsible,” he said.
Mnisi stated that local and international companies would showcase their products and services.
“The event will provide opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate, and explore potential partnerships. It will also include forums and conferences focused on relevant industry topics, such as consumer goods channel selection and marketing innovation,” he said
