SIDVOKODVO – Award-winning Eswatini DJ and producer Welcome “DJ Cup” Zama Maseko has officially been added to the highly anticipated Ocean Summer Vibes line-up, further strengthening what is expected to be one of the country’s biggest music festivals of 2026.
Hosted by Ocean Cuisine Restaurant & Lounge, the festival is set to take place on 24 October at Riders Ranch in Sidvokodvo, where thousands of music lovers are expected to gather for more than 12 hours of live entertainment featuring some of Southern Africa’s biggest music stars.
DJ Cup joins an already impressive line-up led by South African music heavyweights DJ Maphorisa, Kelvin Momo, Blxckie, Pcee, Thatohatsi, Danya Devs, Sbu De Drum and Artwork Sounds, among others. His addition brings a strong local presence to an event packed with internationally acclaimed performers.
A household name in Eswatini’s house music scene, DJ Cup has spent over a decade building a successful career as a DJ, producer and event organiser. Renowned for seamlessly blending Deep House, Afro House and Tech House, he has performed across several African countries, including South Africa, Mozambique, Tanzania and Lesotho.
His contribution to the local music industry has earned him recognition at the MTN SWAMA Awards, where he won Best House Song in 2020 and Best Collaboration in 2021.
Expressing his excitement, DJ Cup said fans can expect an energetic performance filled with fresh music and crowd favourites.
“I’m excited and I can’t wait to rock the stage with new music as well as people’s favourite tunes. I am really looking forward to sharing this incredible experience with everyone at Ocean Summer Vibes,” he said.
Beyond performing, DJ Cup also serves as Operations Director at NewLife Entertainment, where he plays an active role in developing emerging artists and overseeing music production and major entertainment events.
The festival will be headlined by DJ Maphorisa, one of Africa’s most influential producers, alongside Kelvin Momo, widely celebrated as the “King of Private School Amapiano.” Fans can also look forward to performances from Durban rap sensation Blxckie and soulful Amapiano vocalist Thatohatsi, whose powerful vocals have earned her collaborations with some of the genre’s biggest names.
Organisers believe this year’s edition will elevate Eswatini’s entertainment landscape by bringing together world-class talent and showcasing local excellence on the same stage.
Ocean Summer Vibes will begin at 12noon and continue into the early hours of the following morning.
