Mbabane – FNB Eswatini has expanded access to banking services with the installation of four new Automated Deposit Teller Machines and one new Automated Teller Machine at selected locations across the country ahead of the festive season.
The bank confirmed that the new ADTs have been installed at Boxer Mathangeni, Luve Puma Filling Station, Siphofaneni Complex and Mpaka Spar Shopping Centre, while a new ATM has been placed at Hilltop Spar in Mbabane. The rollout forms part of FNB Eswatini’s plan to extend convenient banking services beyond its branch network.
FNB Eswatini Chief Operations Officer Thandeka Dlamini said the additional machines were introduced after listening to customer needs and responding with practical solutions. She said the bank aims to combine innovation with accessible services by taking banking closer to communities across Eswatini, particularly during the busy festive period. Dlamini said the investment reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to the country and encouraged customers to make use of the new ADTs and ATM for convenient everyday banking.
At the same time, FNB Eswatini Chief Risk Officer Gugu Matiwane urged customers to remain cautious when using ATMs and ADTs, especially during the festive season. She advised customers to protect their PINs, avoid sharing them, decline assistance from strangers, use machines in well lit areas and report any suspicious activity to the bank.
FNB Eswatini now operates more than 120 ATMs and ADTs nationwide. The bank recently reported a seven percent year on year growth in its customer base across all segments for the 2024 2025 financial year.
The new ADTs at Boxer Mathangeni, Luve Puma Filling Station, Siphofaneni Complex and Mpaka Spar Shopping Centre allow both withdrawals and deposits. The ATM at Hilltop Spar offers withdrawal services only.
Customers using ADTs are able to deposit cash, withdraw cash, check balances, access statements, change PINs, make eWallet withdrawals, perform cardless withdrawals and reduce transaction limits.
