Manzini – The 8th edition of the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards (ELA) delivered an unforgettable night of glamour, bold fashion and star-studded appearances as celebrities and influencers lit up the red carpet at the Mavuso Trade And Exhibition Centre.
The event attracted some of the country’s most prominent figures in entertainment, fashion and social influence. Guests arrived draped in vibrant colours, dramatic gowns, tailored suits and creative interpretations of the evening’s theme, turning the red carpet into a showcase of artistry and personal style.

The awards honoured outstanding achievements across fashion, beauty, music, entrepreneurship and social influence. Jumbo Khumalo, speaking during the ceremony, highlighted how the platform has evolved into a national powerhouse that celebrates creativity and lifestyle innovation in Eswatini.
“Tonight is about acknowledging individuals who not only excel in their crafts, but also inspire others through the way they live and express themselves,” said one organiser.
A standout moment of the evening was Thembelihle Sangweni, who was crowned Fashion and Beauty Personality of the Year. Her victory, met with loud applause, affirmed her influence and consistency in shaping Eswatini’s fashion narrative.
Another major highlight came from Lucia Kate, who dominated the stage with three significant wins:
- Gospel Artist of the Year
- Best Music Newcomer of the Year
- Best Couple of the Year
Her emotional acceptance speech filled with gratitude, inspiration and a call to perseverance deeply moved the audience.
Rising star Young Zesh took home the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award, recognised for his electrifying performances and growing impact on the creative scene. Meanwhile, Sewakhile Comedy clinched Social Media Personality of the Year, a nod to his comedic creativity and cultural relevance across digital platforms.
The 2025 ELA edition once again affirmed its status as one of the country’s premier lifestyle and entertainment events, celebrating individuals who continue to shape, influence and elevate Eswatini’s cultural landscape.
The night’s entertainment lineup further elevated the atmosphere, featuring standout performances by True Classic, Young Zesh Hapkoo, and a lively Marimba Band. Each act brought unique flair, reflecting the breadth and diversity of Eswatini’s artistic talent.
