Ezulwini – Women Unlimited Eswatini, a non-profit organisation promoting women’s rights and empowerment in Eswatini and Zimbabwe, announced the presentation of the Innovative Waste Management Award to Malandela Green Team at the Temvelo Awards on 28 November 2025.
The award, supported by Women Unlimited Eswatini, recognizes initiatives that advance climate action while creating opportunities for women and youth in the waste management sector. The organisation said the Green Team’s work aligns with its climate change pillar, which encourages active participation in the waste value chain and economic empowerment through sustainable solutions.
Founder and Executive Director Vimbai Kapurura presented the award and noted that acknowledging innovation in waste management is central to building a greener and more inclusive Eswatini.
