MALKERNS – Festival-goers attending the 19th edition of the MTN Bushfire Festival are in for an unforgettable weekend as organisers have assembled one of the strongest line-ups in the event’s history.
The three-day festival, taking place at House On Fire in the Malkerns Valley from May 29 to 31, features a diverse mix of local, regional and international talent spanning multiple music genres.
Among the biggest names scheduled to perform are South African sensation Uncle Waffles, renowned Amapiano duo Shakes & Les, and award-winning performer Moonchild Sanelly.
Festival audiences will also be entertained by performances from Bandora, Young Stunna, !Sooks, Mco Jamrock and Thakzin.
Adding an international flavour to the programme are acclaimed guitarist Guy Buttery, Japanese artist Anna Sato and Angolan group Damas Do Planalto.
The line-up reflects Bushfire’s long-standing commitment to showcasing a blend of established stars and emerging talent from different parts of the world.
Music fans attending the festival can expect an eclectic mix of Amapiano, Afro-pop, traditional sounds, electronic music, jazz, folk and world music across the festival’s various stages.As performances continue throughout the weekend, organisers are confident that this year’s programme will once again cement Bushfire’s reputation as one of Africa’s leading music and arts festivals.
The festival concludes on Sunday after three days of music, culture and celebration that continue to draw audiences from across the continent and beyond.
