Cabo Delgado, Mozambique – President Daniel Chapo of Mozambique visited the Northern Operational Theater in Cabo Delgado on 29 November 2025, meeting with military personnel to boost morale amid ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
During the visit, President Chapo observed the efforts of Mozambican forces and their Rwandan counterparts working together in the region. He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing logistical, humanitarian, and strategic support to ensure operational effectiveness.

The president said the nation stands with all troops defending Mozambique’s territory and stressed the importance of unity between Mozambican forces, allied forces, and civilians to restore stability and peace in Cabo Delgado.
