Mbabane – The world of fashion in Eswatini is celebrating one of its rising stars, as local model, Njabu Thando Dlamini, is nominated for the Zikomo Africa and Caribbean Awards.
The recognition comes as a testament to her dedication, talent, and the growing impact of Eswatini’s modeling industry on the international stage. Dlamini’s journey into modeling began in 2018, driven by a deep passion for visual storytelling and creativity.
“My journey into modeling has been a truly rewarding adventure defined by passion, persistence, and a deep appreciation for the art of visual storytelling,” she reflects.
In 2024, she took a significant step forward by officially joining Top Models eSwatini, a move that has shaped her professional growth and opened doors to numerous opportunities, including working at the Phakama Mphumalanga Festival.
Mentorship has played a key role in her development, with Mbalenhle Kimberley Manana providing invaluable guidance and support.
“Her belief in my work has been instrumental in my growth. Every project has been a learning experience, shaping me not just as a model, but as a professional committed to excellence and creativity,” she says.
