Addis Ababa – The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, received H.E. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuba’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, for talks on strengthening ties between Africa and Cuba.
During the meeting, both leaders reflected on the long-standing relationship rooted in shared values and solidarity. Youssouf acknowledged Cuba’s ongoing support in sectors such as health and education, while Rodríguez praised the AU’s leadership in promoting regional integration, infrastructure development, peace, and stability across Africa.
The two officials also discussed enhancing multilateral cooperation through the African Union and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
