MBABANE – The Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Bongani Nzima, has announced that this year’s Trade Fair 2025 Culture competitions will be sponsored by Mulasport and Kunotsa Foundation for a total of E200 000.
The Culture competition has been allocated E150,000, while the Dance competition will receive E50,000. Corresponding sponsorships also came from the sponsors with Kunotsa Foundation sponsoring with E150 000 while Mulasport sponsored with E50 000.
Speaking during the announcement, Minister Nzima said the ministry remained committed to placing culture at the centre of the national development plan.
He added that Eswatini’s cultural achievements on the global stage were evidence of the progress being made, crediting His Majesty’s Government for continuously allocating value and budgets to the culture sector.
“As we go to the Trade Fair, we want to put smiles on everyone from exhibitors to visitors and youth in the country to uplift the experiences for 2025 as an individual and group landmark,” Nzima said.
Eswatini Investment and Promotion Authority (EIPA) Chief Executive Officer Sibani Mngomezulu urged the public to attend the Trade Fair, highlighting that it would be an opportunity to experience and celebrate the richness of the nation’s culture.
