MATSAPHA – The Royal Eswatini Police Service will commemorate its 118th anniversary on Friday, 15 August, with a national celebration at the Matsapha Police Academy.
This year’s Police Day will not only honour the legacy of the force since its founding in 1907 but will also see the graduation of a new cohort of police recruits. The recruits will officially take the oath of office and join various policing units across the country.
The event will feature a medal presentation ceremony recognising distinguished officers, a precision drill display by the Operational Support Services Unit (OSSU), and a musical performance by the Royal Brass Band.
Members of the public are invited to attend or follow the proceedings via livestream on the official REPS Facebook page.
