MANZINI – Rising football star Sibonelo “Mzala” Vilakati has signed a three-year contract with Moneni Pirates, making the leap from the Lubombo Promotion League to the elite level of Eswatini football.
Mzala, who previously played for Bushbucks FC, caught the attention of scouts during the recent INSTACASH Schools Soccer Tournament, where he was named Player of the Tournament. The standout performance earned him both recognition and a new suit as a reward.
The 18-year-old midfielder is a former student of Mpaka High School, which has voiced pride in his progress from school football to the professional ranks.
Confirming the deal, Moneni Pirates Public Relations Officer ‘Sluga’ said, “Yes, I confirm, he’s our player now.” The agreement includes monthly wages, a signing-on fee, and additional benefits, pointing to the club’s confidence in the young player’s potential.
