MBABANE – The Eswatini government has granted scholarships to 870 students to pursue studies at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT), following a competitive process that received over 1,390 applications.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Security confirmed that successful applicants were placed across 16 courses, including both Associate and Bachelor’s Degree programmes. Business Management recorded the highest enrolment, followed by Information Technology with 250 students, and Journalism with 54. Other courses receiving significant numbers included International Business, Architecture Technology, Film Production, Creative Media, and Marketing.
Delays in issuing admission letters from some tertiary institutions led the ministry to extend the scholarship application deadline to 13 July.
The programme aims to ease financial pressures on students and their families while increasing access to higher education in creative and professional fields, supporting skills development and human capital growth across Eswatini.
