Mbabane – Young leaders from all four regions of Eswatini have gained practical skills and knowledge through the Climate-Smart Initiative Training for Climate Action and Sustainable Development. The programme, delivered by Indalo Inclusive in partnership with the Eswatini National Commission for UNESCO, the Eswatini National Trust Commission, and UNESCO ROSA, equipped participants with innovative tools to promote sustainability in their communities.

The initiative falls under the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme and the Greening Education Partnership, aiming to empower youth to take action for resilient, sustainable futures where people and nature thrive. Training sessions and mentorship will continue, providing ongoing guidance to help participants turn ideas into tangible projects.

Participants will also be profiled to share their stories, amplify their voices, and encourage broader engagement in climate action across the country.
