Johannesburg- TS Galaxy has announced eight new signings, a move made possible after the club successfully lifted a series of FIFA-imposed bans. The announcement comes just ahead of their MTN8 quarter-final match against Sekhukhune United.
The new players, including former Kaizer Chiefs DDC Captain Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi, Ansline William, Matome Mmolai, Mzwandile Dlamini, Siyabonga Nguessan, Onke Moletshe, Sedwyn George, and Veluyeke Zulu, will bolster the team as they prepare for the new season.
The club had been under sanctions that prevented them from registering new players. However, chairman Tim Sukazi and the club’s management worked to have the bans lifted in time for the season’s start. With three of the four bans now resolved, the club is confident in its ability to compete at the highest level.
This strategic move follows the team’s strong performance last season, where they finished in the top half of the Betway Premiership standings for the second year in a row.
