DELHI – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Sunday to discuss the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.
According to India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Pezeshkian briefed Modi on the situation, prompting the Indian leader to call for immediate de-escalation and dialogue.
Modi stressed that diplomacy remains the best way forward and reiterated India’s support for restoring peace, security, and stability in the region as soon as possible.
