MBABANE – Gospel singer Nothando Hlophe is set to perform in Taiwan later this month, taking Eswatini’s music to a new international stage.
The concert is scheduled for 21 June 2025 at the Dayeh University M Hall in Taichung. It forms part of the “Glory Across Nations” tour, organised by Nik Nak Events and Lokuhle Media Group.
Hlophe made the announcement shortly after delivering a powerful performance at her live recording show The New Dawn, held at Mavuso Trade Centre. The event drew hundreds of fans and featured collaborations with award-winning artists Ayanda Ntanzi and Sands.
The Taiwan leg of the tour is being billed as more than a concert, with organisers calling it a “spiritual movement across continents.” Hlophe said the upcoming event will be “an unforgettable night of worship, celebration and glory.”
Her rising profile on the international gospel stage comes after years of connecting deeply with audiences through her emotive vocals and lyrical storytelling. Her performance in Taichung is expected to introduce Eswatini’s gospel sound to a broader global audience, while also building cultural ties between Eswatini and Taiwan.
