MLAWULA – The seventh edition of the Mlawula Campfire Festival is shaping up to be an explosive weekend of music, entertainment and outdoor adventure, with South African sensation Boohle leading an impressive line-up of local and regional talent.
Set for September 25–27, 2026, the three-day camping extravaganza promises to bring together music lovers and outdoor enthusiasts for what organisers describe as the biggest camping event in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Boohle is expected to be one of the biggest attractions of the festival, bringing her distinctive sound and energetic performance to the Mlawula stage. However, festivalgoers can expect much more than a headline performance, with an extensive cast of artists, DJs and entertainers lined up to keep the party going throughout the weekend.
Among those joining Boohle are The Bishop, Cedric, Zulu D, Uncle Karly, Thando Co-host, Obsession, Lord F, Bholoja, ITSALLBLAQ, Sancheziey, Aya City, Sgitha, Culolam, Shongwe & Khuphuka Saved Group and Linda Dlamini.
The DJ line-up is equally packed, featuring DJ Khuni, Lady Zee, DJ MBO and DJ Tempt, while Young Zesh, Bandora, Gifted Kosie, The Scientists, Shepard Brothers and Matewu Bozza are also set to bring their sounds to the festival.
Adding to the entertainment are Gogo & S’lwane, while Sintour Co-host and Tjovitjo Host are expected to bring their personalities and energy to the festivities.
With such a diverse line-up, the festival is positioning itself as an experience that caters to different musical tastes, from contemporary sounds and DJs to live performances and traditional influences.
Music will only be part of the attraction. The Mlawula Campfire Festival is built around the camping experience, giving attendees the chance to spend an entire weekend in the outdoors while enjoying entertainment with friends and fellow festivalgoers.
For those looking for extra comfort, the festival offers glamping at E4,100, while Imbabala and Impala packages cost E450 and E650, respectively. Camping equipment can also be rented, with one-sleeper tents going for E150, two-sleeper tents E250 and three-sleeper tents E350. Mattresses are available at E100 each.
Three days. One destination. A campfire, a massive line-up and memories waiting to be made. Mlawula is calling.
