Vuvulane: Punches, kicks, and bites were exchanged during a fight between well-known gospel artist Nonhlanhla Maseko and her biggest fan Nelsiwe Maziya. The artist suspected Maziya to be poaching her husband.
The founder and leader of Nonhlahla Maseko Messenger of Grace Gospel Group shocked the entire community on Saturday morning when she confronted Maziya who was on her way to work. Maseko accosted her old-time friend Maziya at a nearby sugar cane field. The unsuspecting Maziya was taken by surprise when out of the blue all hell broke loose and she was assaulted with fists, kicks, and teeth. They both ended up rolling over each other in the course of the fight and were eventually separated by an onlooker
Maziya claims the artist accuses her of cheating with her husband, which she denies. Maziya said she has never made any sexually motivated advances to Nonhlanhla’s husband. Maziya says that their grudge is an old thing and it is not romantically based.
