Mbabane: Pastor Sikhumbuzo Shongwe, the son of Bishop Nash Shongwe allegedly shot his wife Jabulile Nkonyane.
Shongwe is a well-known pastor, now a member of All Nations Christian Church, owned by Archbishop Bheki Lukhele.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on Sunday at Pastor Sikhumbuzo’s house in Manzini after an argument with his wife.
Information reaching this publication is to the fact that his wife came to his compound to confront him on issues that were ongoing within them, after a heated argument Sikhumbuzo is said to have opened fire acting on self-defense.
After the incident Pastor Sikhumbuzo is said to be hiding but indicated that he will be handing himself over to the police on Monday.
The Police Information Communications Officer, confirmed the incident saying police are searching for Shongwe in relation to the incident.
Information gathered by this publication is that Jabulile was allegedly rushed to Manzini Clinic soon after being shot.
The couple’s disagreements have been making newspaper headlines where the couple is said to be involved in a tense family feud.
