Mbabane: It’s a ‘Masked and Sanitized Giggles’ national tour
Comedy lovers will now get a chance to enjoy comedy shows from favorite comedians for the first time since 2020 when entertainment events and gatherings were banned.
Merchants of Bottomless Laughter will host a national tour which will see Smallz the Comedian, Gogo, Slwane Darren, Luswiba, Festiva B and Gedelmbane sharing the stage.
The national tour will started on April 15, 2021 at the Mega Lounge, Sidvwashini.
In a poster released by Smallz the Comedian, the show themed ‘A 100 Masked and Sanitized Giggles’ will start at 6:30 pm at Mega Lounge and tickets will be sold pre-event at the venue – Mega Lounge and the Ministry of Style Shop no.8 SNAT building in Manzini.
Confirming the developments was Philandi Mpanza who is the Artist Manager who said the event will be COVID-19 compliant and tickets will cost E100 each.
When asked if everything regarding the event was set and if they were ready to give comedy lovers a great taste of what they have been missing due to COVID-19 restrictions, Mpanza said everything is set.
He said it is Merchants of Bottomless Laughter’s first local event within Covid-19 and everyone is exited and looking forward to our people whom we greatly miss a beautiful time.
Mpanza said the national tour started on April 15, 2021 and will run throughout the month of May.
“The tour will cover all cities of the country and will consist of three events per week, which is on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. “More details on the next venue and dates will be reviled on due course,” he said.
