- Working tools part of government’s decentralisation drive
- The four vehicles comes with already hired drivers
Mbabane: The Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development has furnished the Simunye, Lugongolweni, Mhlambanyatsi and Lobamba Tinkhundla Centres with working tools and vehicles valued at E14 million as part of Government’s decentralisation drive.
The assets comprises of four (4) Quantum kombis, computers laptops, function printers, projectors and pull-over screens, Air-conditioners, Desks, Chairs, Boardroom tables and cabinets.
The four vehicles comes with already hired drivers.
When handing over the assets the Minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development David Ngcamphalala said he believed that those employees deployed to these working Stations will be good Ambassadors of His Majesty’s Government by serving the people diligently and honestly.
“We trust that you will take good care of these assets because they are the tools that will help you execute your duties effectively and efficiently.”
The Minister revealed that procurement of vehicles for Gege and Mayiwane Tinkhundla is planned for Phase 2 and the services will be launched after minor works had been completed.
Meanwhile, in the 2021/2022 national budget, the Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development was allocated a total of E348 369 344.
