FNB opens a new branch in Mbabane Mall

Mbabane – FNB Eswatini has opened its 14th branch in Mbabane as it responds to a growing customer base and increasing demand for banking services in the capital.

The new mini branch, situated at The New Mall next to Boxer, was officially opened yesterday by the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Thokozani ‘TK’ Dlamini.

Speaking during the opening ceremony, Dlamini said the branch was established to improve service delivery and reduce long queues experienced at the bank’s Corporate Place branch.

“The opening of this Mbabane Branch is a strategic response to the need for an expanded footprint in Mbabane, driven by a growing customer base which has resulted in long queues at the Corporate Place branch and had an impact on the high standard of customer experience we like to deliver. We are therefore pleased to open the branch today, which will enable us to serve our customers more efficiently,” he said.

Dlamini said the branch also reflected the bank’s commitment to making its services more accessible to emaSwati.

“It is exciting to open this branch under our commitment to emaSwati, ‘Help is for Everyone’, and this branch allows us to bring this promise to life for our customers in Mbabane. As FNB Eswatini, we will continue to extend help to every corner of Eswatini,” he said.

He added that the additional branch would ease pressure on employees at the Corporate Place branch, which has experienced increased customer traffic.

“Additionally, the opening of Mbabane Branch will also provide much-needed relief to our Corporate Place team that has had to manage the growing customer needs in Mbabane. As a business, we are committed to continually enhancing customer and employee experience, and investing in the right infrastructure is one of the ways in which we will achieve this,” said Dlamini.

The Mbabane branch is the bank’s second to open this year following the launch of its Siphofaneni branch in April.

FNB Eswatini now has 14 branches across the country, more than 100 Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Automated Deposit Tellers (ADTs), as well as over 800 active CashPlus agents.

Customers visiting the new branch will have access to services including account opening, loan applications and account maintenance.
