MANZINI – Music lovers and nightlife enthusiasts are in for a treat as IF’s Lounge Manzini officially launches Karaoke Nights Season 2 on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, promising an electrifying midweek experience where talent, fun, and African style take centre stage.
Headlining the season opener is celebrated Swati soul singer Bholoja, whose confirmation adds star power and prestige to the much-anticipated launch. Known for his captivating stage presence and deep connection with audiences, Bholoja is expected to set the tone for an unforgettable karaoke experience in an intimate setting.
The Season 2 launch marks a major step forward for the Moneni-based venue, located in the Carson Building, following a highly successful first season that transformed Tuesday and Wednesday nights into a favourite hangout for music lovers. The organisers aim to elevate the concept further by blending professional live performances with emerging local talent under one roof.
Bholoja, whose real name is Mbongiseni Ngubane, is one of Eswatini’s most respected artists. Currently enjoying a high point in his career, he has won the Best-Selling Swati Artist Award for three consecutive years and has consistently featured in the Top 10 charts on Radio France Internationale (RFI). His music continues to grow the Swati Soul genre, fusing diverse sounds that have earned him fans across the globe. He is widely known for hit songs such as “Indzawo Yami” and “Mbombela.”
While Bholoja regularly commands major stages including the MTN Bushfire Festival and the Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival, the Karaoke Nights launch offers fans a rare opportunity to experience his powerful vocals in a close, personal lounge setting.
Supporting the headline act will be IF’s Lounge resident DJs, with MC Thando hosting the night and keeping the energy high from start to finish. Doors open at 6:00pm until late, giving patrons plenty of time to take the microphone or enjoy the performances in a vibrant social atmosphere.
The event carries an African Wear theme, encouraging guests to celebrate culture and style while transforming the venue into a colourful display of Eswatini heritage. Entrance is priced at an affordable E50, making it an accessible and exciting midweek outing.
Adding to the experience are food and drink specials, including selected premium beverage deals, early-arrival cocktail specials, and discounted meal offers designed to keep the party going all night. VIP reservations will also be available.
With a strong lineup, cultural flair, and an award-winning headliner, the Karaoke Nights Season 2 Launch is shaping up to be one of Manzini’s standout entertainment events this January. Whether stepping up to the microphone or cheering from the crowd, IF’s Lounge is the place to be.
