Taipei – Taiwan has been ranked number one worldwide for healthcare, according to Numbeo’s 2025 mid-year report on the Best Healthcare Systems. The country scored 87.0 points for quality, accessibility, and affordability of medical services, placing it ahead of South Korea and the Netherlands.
South Korea came second with 82.8 points, followed by the Netherlands at 80.6. Japan scored 80.2, Austria 78.5, Denmark 78.3, and Ecuador 78.0. Other countries in the top ten included Finland (77.4), Spain (77.3), Thailand (77.3), and France (77.2).
