Mbabane: Hosea Member of Parliament Mduduzi ‘Bacede’ Mabuza has been granted E5000.00 bail after he was arrested on Wednesday at his homestead at Coates Valley, Manzini.

Reports are to the effect that Mabuza was released on Thursday afternoon, after bail hearing that was held before Magistrate Simo Simelane at the Mbabane Magistrate Court.

Mabuza was charged with obstruction of Justice which he was alleged to have committed when he assisted his brother Sifiso Mabuza o forging Tax clearance documents. However, according to Police Information and Communications Phindile Vilakati this was not the only charge levelled against Mabuza rather there were other four counts at hand.

In a short interview with Independent News, Mabuza confirmed his release saying he currently out on bail and the matter will proceed on August 24. Mabuza said he cannot get into details of the matter as it is still an ongoing case and he will be only able to give his side of the story once he is given the chance to give his defense.

Mabuza added that the case cannot stand on his way to represent his constituency hence he will continue with his duties as the Member of Parliament.
