Mbabane – The Incomati and Maputo Watercourse Commission (INMACOM) concluded its Technical Task Team Meeting in the Kingdom of Eswatini on 27 November 2025, bringing together specialists from Mozambique, Eswatini, and South Africa. The three-day meeting, which began on 25 November, focused on reviewing progress under the INMACOM Strategy 2023–2027 and planning priority actions for the next three years.
Technical teams conducted joint analyses, collected data, and developed recommendations to strengthen transboundary management of shared water resources. Key activities were identified for inclusion in the commission’s implementation plan for 2026–2028.
The final day featured the 71st Technical Steering Committee Meeting, attended by commissioners from the three member states. Commissioners reviewed proposals from INMACOM Executive Secretary Sindy Mthimkhulu and commended the Secretariat and technical teams for their work. They recognized the dedication of national delegations in promoting joint solutions for sustainable development of the basin’s water resources.
