Mbabane – ENACTUS Eswatini has opened nominations for its first Alumni Association leadership team, aiming to strengthen support for former student leaders now in professional or entrepreneurial roles. Nominations, which began last week, close today, Friday, and are open to alumni from all former and current partner institutions, including those who participated when the organisation operated as Students in Free Enterprise in the early 2000s.
The new Alumni Association will provide mentorship to current student project teams and enhance the role of ENACTUS alumni in Eswatini’s socio-economic development. Acting Programs Manager Temalangeni Dlamini said the leadership team will reflect the diversity and professionalism of the ENACTUS network, selecting members with proven leadership, integrity, and a commitment to sustainable development initiatives.
“This is a defining moment for the ENACTUS community in Eswatini. We are building a structure that will thrive beyond us, supporting students, strengthening partnerships, and elevating Eswatini’s role in the global ENACTUS ecosystem,” Dlamini said.
Since October, ENACTUS has held an alumni event to engage former members, identify challenges they face in business and employment, and prepare them to mentor current students. The founding leadership team will establish governance frameworks, coordinate national programs, and foster collaboration with industry, development partners, and civic institutions.
Only alumni and current team CEOs are eligible to nominate candidates. Nominations can be submitted through https://forms.gle/dneAg8w1FzqmQnhc6.
