Mbabane – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini departed the country on Sunday for Angola, where he will represent His Majesty King Mswati III and the nation at the 7th African Union–European Union Summit.
The high-level gathering brings together Heads of State and Government from both unions to strengthen cooperation and reaffirm a shared commitment to multilateralism, solidarity, and collective action. The Summit will focus on addressing common global and regional challenges through renewed partnerships and coordinated strategies.
Key discussions are expected to centre on peace and security, economic development, climate resilience, and advancing sustainable growth across Africa and Europe. Member States will also explore ways to enhance bilateral and multilateral collaboration to bolster stability and long-term development.
