Mbabane – The Ministry of Home Affairs has invited representatives from all religious institutions in Eswatini to participate in a series of stakeholder meetings to discuss the development of a national policy governing religious organisations.
To accommodate the large number of faith communities and ensure meaningful participation, the Ministry will hold two separate sessions at the Commerce Auditorium in Mbabane. The first session, targeting Christian leaders, is scheduled for Monday, 10 November 2025, starting at 09:30. The second session, which will include Muslim, Hindu, ZCC, Jewish, Shembe, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Traditionalist, Baha’i, Rasta, and other faith representatives, will take place on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, also starting at 09:30.
The Ministry said active engagement from all participants is vital to create an inclusive framework that respects Eswatini’s diverse beliefs and practices. Stakeholders are encouraged to come prepared to share their insights and contribute to shaping the policy.
For further information, representatives may contact the Ministry’s Communications Office at 76063938.
