Pigg’s Peak – Before their weekend MTN Premier League matchup with Malanti Chiefs FC, Mbabane Highlanders AM FC president Shaun “MaMkhize” Mkhize had a visit to Pigg’s Peak’s Killarney Sports Ground.
“I was just here to see the place and understand it as well as do the actual site inspection.
“We saw the stadium and we are still engaging further to ensure that things remain ready for the weekend,” Mkhize said.
In addition to touring the sports facility, Mkhize had a separate meeting with representatives of the Piggs Peak Town Council to discuss potential investment prospects. Piggs Peak Mayor, Sipho Shongwe, said that they were being intentional with reaching out to Mkhize to sell her investment opportunities.
“We are still going to draft an MoU and figure out how the Council and Mkhize, as a businesswoman, could collaborate. We wish she could eventually invest in Piggs Peak. it could change the town’s economy,” Shongwe said.
However, Shongwe said they were still exploring investment opportunities. Mkhize also met Jabulani “Buy Cash” Mabuza, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, who serves as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Piggs Peak.
Mkhize has publicly declared to be still hunting for a home for her club.
