Taipei, Taiwan – Eswatini’s REPS National Commissioner, Manoma Vusie Masango, received the Medal of Friendship from Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Chia-Lung Lin, on Friday, 31 October 2025.
The award was presented during the 7th Taiwan–Western Asia and Africa Forum on Regional Security and Transnational Crime, recognising Commissioner Masango’s work in strengthening Taiwan–Eswatini police cooperation. His efforts through the Global Cooperation and Training Framework, scholarships, and other capacity-building initiatives were cited as key achievements.
Commissioner Masango has also supported Taiwan at the 92nd INTERPOL General Assembly in 2024 and will continue representing Eswatini at the 93rd INTERPOL in 2025, helping to improve international collaboration against crime.
