Mbabane – Three Eswatini artists, Slimnutty, Bless LePoet, and Ghetto Villah, are preparing to release their collaborative single “Um’khuleko,” a song aimed at encouraging people to remain faithful, pray regularly, and follow God’s guidance.
Bongani Ngwenya, 21, from Maphiveni, performs under the name Slimnutty and is active in multiple creative fields including music, photography, and videography. On social media, he promotes freelance photography services using the username @slim_nutty838 on Instagram, while his music work under SlimNutty Nobaby on Facebook features collaborations and upcoming releases. Earlier this year, he teased a track titled “Fasa Ngwane,” demonstrating his focus on Hip-Hop and Afro Pop. Slimnutty organized the “Um’khuleko” project and owns the track, though he does not appear on vocals.
Sibusiso Shongwe, widely known as Bless LePoet, comes from Phonjwane in the Siphofaneni Constituency. Since 2021, he has built a reputation in spoken-word and music, blending poetry with rap and soulful melodies. He has performed on platforms including Uneswa FM, EBIS, and Eswatini TV and earned nominations for the 2023 Swazi Fest Writer’s Awards (Poetic Writer Of The Year), 2024 Jumbo Festival Award (Personality Of The Year), and 2025 Eswatini Lifestyle Awards (Entertainer Of The Year). He has shared stages with artists like Diba Diba, DJ MBO, Flash Kumkan, Hoodstar Bantwana, and Eimsofly. His poetry has featured in films such as “Buciko Benhlitiyo” and “Forest Film Eswatini” and has been incorporated by comedians including Abahle and Mrevee.
Bless LePoet is also the founder and host of the Hip-Hop “Bars2Bars Cypher Seasons,” providing a platform for local artists to showcase their skills. His notable music works include “Ngilimele” featuring Azzy l De Poetess, “Imali” featuring Tn$ Savvy & Double TV, “Depression” with Anati SA & Drejik265, “Ningam’khaleli” with Wayesu Zambia & NineFourBeats, and “Ngitsandziwe” featuring Skhubash. He has collaborated with respected producers such as Bob Musician, Tn$ Savvy, SeimeStonesDPR, BadRelief, King Kangaroo, and NineFourBeats. His work has also reached international audiences, appearing in the U.S.-based Pepper Magazine and through collaborations with artists from South Africa, Zambia, Nigeria, Lesotho, Malawi, and Ghana.
Vusi Brain Maziya, known as Ghetto Villah, is a rapper, music producer, and CEO of Samaritan Records, which also provides music production and recording services. A prominent figure in Eswatini’s Kasi Rap scene, Ghetto Villah is known for his songwriting, stage presence, and commitment to social causes, including supporting the Phumula Ngwane Home for the Aged. His notable works include the hit single “Pull Up” and his second album “Mshin’Kalova.” He is preparing an upcoming Extended Playlist titled “Myimane,” featuring artists such as Mala Triggerson and Kena.
The single “Um’khuleko,” meaning “Praying,” features Ghetto Villah on vocals and is inspired by faith, encouraging people to fear the Lord, live according to His word, and focus on prayer rather than worldly distractions. The beat was produced by BoB Musician at Afro Melodies in Lomahhasha, while Ghetto Villah handled the mixing and mastering at Samaritan Records. The track will be available on YouTube, digital stores, and streaming platforms.
