Mankayane – The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) has arrested a 38-year-old man from Hawane for being found in possession of dagga weighing 135 kilograms without a valid licence or permit.
According to a press statement issued by the police on Thursday, the suspect was apprehended on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, around 12:00 p.m. at Lushikishini area. Police confirmed that the man was charged under the Pharmacy Act for unlawful possession of the illegal substance.
The Royal Eswatini Police Service added that no road traffic accidents were reported in the past 24 hours.
