Mbabane – The Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs has unveiled a new display of the Olympic Rings at the Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association headquarters, marking a first for the Kingdom and for Africa.
Minister Bongani Nzima led the ceremony yesterday, joined by British High Commissioner Colin Wells, EOCGA board members, representatives from the Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council, and local sports affiliates. The event celebrated the Olympic spirit and the growing prominence of Eswatini in international sports.
The new installation positions Eswatini as the first African nation to host such a display, a milestone that officials say reflects the country’s commitment to supporting athletes and fostering national pride through sports.
