Mbabane – The Eswatini National Gospel Music Awards will take centre stage on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Luke Commission Auditorium in Sidvokodvo, promising an evening of glamour, worship, and recognition for the nation’s gospel music stars.
The annual event, which celebrates excellence in the gospel industry, will feature a red-carpet entrance at 4:00 PM, followed by the Gospel Power Hour from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The main ceremony will go live at 8:00 PM, bringing together top gospel artists, celebrities, and influencers for one of Eswatini’s most anticipated cultural showcases.
This year, 27 winners will be crowned across various categories, while five prestigious Honorary Awards including the Minister’s Award, the Chairperson’s Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented.
According to the event’s spokesperson, Mr. Nathi Makhabane, tickets will soon be available on Moja Ticket. “We encourage the public to get ready and budget as this is an event not to be missed,” he said.
The awards are set to gain regional exposure through partnerships with leading South African gospel media platforms such as One Gospel and Soweto TV, alongside extensive local coverage.
Highlighting inclusivity, the event has partnered with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister to feature top performers from the Disability Festival Sabelo, Msweli, and Siya Bayas as part of the night’s performance lineup.
“This is part of our mandate to promote all disciplines and provide a platform for every artist to shine,” said Mr. Stanley Dlamini, CEO of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture.
Chairperson Mr. Nathi Mhlanga assured the public of an unforgettable show, noting, “We are going all big. The stage is massive, and we are ready to present Eswatini to the world on a bigger scale.”
