Mbabane – The National Emergency Response Council on HIV and AIDS (NERCHA) officially introduced its 9th Council to staff during a ceremony at the organization’s headquarters. Minister of Housing and Urban Development Appolo Maphalala, representing Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini, led the introduction.
The new council, chaired by Ntsika Fakudze, will serve a three-year term. Minister Maphalala outlined three guiding principles for the council and staff: demonstrating excellence in operations and accountability, fostering growth to expand NERCHA’s mandate, and embedding sustainability in all programmes to ensure lasting impact.
Chairperson Fakudze said the council’s role is to support NERCHA’s work, adding that success depends on all members and staff working together.
