MANZINI – South African music star Sjava will bring his soulful sound to the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on 24 October 2025, headlining the Teachers’ Day Bash After Party hosted by the Swaziland National Association of Teachers (SNAT).
The announcement was made on Monday evening through SNAT’s official Facebook page, confirming the award-winning artist, whose real name is Jabulani Hadebe, as the main act. Sjava, known for his poetic lyrics and deep connection to Zulu heritage, will perform in celebration of Eswatini’s teachers.
The after-party will begin after the day’s formal Teachers’ Day celebrations and is expected to run through the night. Entry will cost E50 for SNAT members and E200 for the general public.
New Life Entertainment has been appointed to manage the entertainment line-up and logistics of the event, following a partnership agreement signed with SNAT in April 2024. The collaboration was established to promote cultural events that celebrate the teaching profession and foster community engagement.
New Life Entertainment’s representative, Thembinkosi Mthethwa, said the after-party would be open to all members of the public, giving non-educators a chance to join teachers in their celebrations.
SNAT, founded in 1928, continues to honour teachers through events that blend music, culture, and appreciation. The organization’s partnership with New Life Entertainment has already produced popular events such as the Makoti Festival, which drew hundreds to Malkerns Country Club in April this year.
Further details on supporting acts for the Teachers’ Day Bash are expected to be announced in the coming days.
