Mbabane: Musician, Rapper and Teacher it’s all you can call him.
“Hoodstar Bantwana” real name Musa Masondo has released a new single titled Syakhipha Madala ft Election M.
The song was released on 1 June and is already making waves on national radio. Syakhipha Madala ft Election M song after being released was featured on ‘45 minutes local play” a program on Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Service (EBIS 2), which plays newly released music from local artists.
In an interview with this publication Hoodstar said “he was very excited to have yet another song released as he has a great passion for music. “I have kept my dream always and now am working towards releasing a full album”.
Syakhipha madala ft Election M song has received an overwhelming response from his followers even on social media and it is already making waves on radio.
Hoodstar bantwana is not a newbie in music, his musical started when he was 16 and still in high school at St Josephs High School. He is now a final year student at Southern African Nazarene University (SANU) perusing a Primary Teachers Diploma.
“Music has never disturbed my learning he said. Since I was in school I have kept my passion hence this year am finishing tertiary”.
While at school he said, he would perform in school concerts using beats and rhyme on them with fellow friends.
In 2015 he recorded his first Single titled “For them haters”, He then further released another one in 2017 Titled “Balling” In 2018 He had another single released featuring MTN ESWAMA award winning Afro Pop artist Popzin and Mr Cox the Poet In a track titled “Nomanini” produced by MasterKelly of Soulheal Music records. In 2019 he also released a few songs and now he is working on releasing a 15 song album titled “hood life stories”, his music is now available on digital music stores on social media pages Hoodstar Bantwana
