Mbabane – The Municipal Council of Mbabane has launched its first Smart City Masterclass, marking a new chapter in how urban spaces are planned and managed in Eswatini’s capital.
The session, held today, focused on the theme Property as an Asset, drawing attention to the broader meaning of ownership within a developing city. Beyond land and buildings, the discussion explored how property can generate value, foster growth, and secure opportunities for residents in a smart city environment.
City officials described the initiative as a platform for dialogue on innovative governance and inclusive urban transformation. The masterclass created space for participants to reflect on property not only as a legal document of ownership, but also as a tool for building wealth, security, and a sustainable legacy.
