New York – Swazi-born international DJ and record producer Lungelihle Zwane, better known as Uncle Waffles, will take the stage in New York City next month. The 24-year-old entertainer, who has risen to global fame as a leading figure in the amapiano movement, is scheduled to perform on Sunday, 14 September 2025, at The Rooftop at Pier 17.
The performance is billed as an outdoor show, running from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and is open to audiences aged 18 and above. Organisers have confirmed that the event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
Uncle Waffles, celebrated for her dance skills and amapiano sets, has been described by Billboard magazine as the “princess of amapiano.” Her career has steadily expanded beyond South Africa, with international tours and appearances at global music festivals positioning her as one of the most prominent Swazi entertainers on the world stage.
Tickets for the New York show are available through AXS, with additional premium offers including dining packages and club add-ons. The venue has also made provisions for guests requiring special seating arrangements.
