MASERU – The University of the Free State (UFS) reconnected with its Lesotho-based alumni on Friday, 18 July 2025, during an evening gathering held in the capital.

The event, organised by the UFS Alumni Relations Office, brought together former students to rekindle ties with their alma mater and fellow Kovsies in the region.

UFS Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Hester C. Klopper, took part in the event and joined attendees in an open dialogue session. Her engagement focused on strengthening the university’s relationship with its alumni and fostering ongoing collaboration.
