MATSAPHA – South African businesswoman Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize has officially joined Mbabane Highlanders as the club’s new director, following the recent resignation of Managing Director Bheki ‘Rubber’ Simelane.
The confirmation came during a closed signing ceremony held yesterday at Summerfield, putting an end to speculation that had swirled over the past week about MaMkhize’s involvement with the club.
Her official unveiling is scheduled for the upcoming weekend, where she is expected to share her vision for the team and outline her plans for the 2025/26 season.
Speaking after the signing, MaMkhize revealed that she intends to bring in at least five new players from South Africa to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign. Preparations are already underway as the team shifts focus to recruitment and finalising its roster.
