The Minister of ICT, Savannah Maziya, visited the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP) Business Incubator in Phocweni earlier today, where she met with young entrepreneurs driving innovation across Eswatini’s tech and business sectors.
Startups currently housed at the incubator showcased their projects to the minister during a site tour that focused on emerging solutions in health, fintech, agriculture, and digital services. Each team used the opportunity to pitch their ideas and explain how their businesses aim to solve local challenges and create jobs.
The visit, held at the heart of RSTP’s innovation hub, brought together tech developers, mentors, and incubation staff, with discussions centred around how small enterprises can scale and contribute to national development goals. Some of the founders spoke of the support they receive at RSTP, which provides access to office space, internet, mentorship, and capacity-building workshops.
