MPAKA – Naledi Aphiwe and Mawelele are once again packing their bags for a return to Eswatini.
This time, the talented duo is confirmed to perform at the Mpaka Recreational Club, bringing their electrifying music to the stage. The vibrant young pair is set to headline the event on June 14 in Mpaka, following their performance last month at Ehawini Lifestyle.
Patrons can expect an unforgettable night of music and energy, especially as the duo is best known for their hit single Romeo and Juliet, which has continued to gain popularity since its release.
Tickets for the event start at E80 for early birds and E120 for general admission. For those deciding at the last minute, tickets will also be available at the gate for E150.
A closer look at the artists’ profiles reveals their remarkable journey. At just 18 years old, Naledi Aphiwe rose to fame after a video showcasing her exceptional singing talent went viral. The video caught the attention of international superstar Chris Brown, who featured her on his song Shooter from the album 11:11.
This recognition provided her with a major platform to elevate her music career. Naledi was later signed to Virgin Music Group and secured a nomination at the 2025 Metro FM Music Awards. Despite the demands of her rising career, she recently completed her matric, successfully balancing academics with her music.
Manuel Mabelle, known as Mawelele and aged 22, has also been making waves in the industry. He gained attention with his debut single All My Life featuring Kwast, and has since collaborated with top artists including Blaq Diamond, Makhosi, and most recently Naledi Aphiwe, on the viral hit Romeo & Juliet, which amassed over one million YouTube views in just ten days.
Both artists have shown relentless dedication to ensuring their music reaches a wider audience. Organizers promise that this performance will be one of the most exciting shows of the year.
