Mbabane – A total of 2 564 children were vaccinated against measles and the human papillomavirus (HPV) during a week-long immunisation campaign led by the Ministry of Health.
The campaign, which took place across health facilities and outreach points in Eswatini, targeted children under the age of five for measles vaccines and girls aged 9 to 14 for the HPV vaccine. The initiative was carried out in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO).
Health officials also extended the campaign to include free COVID-19 vaccinations for adults.
